Terrible all round

<p>I went into ocean basket at gateway Durban on Saturday 29.04.17. I sat with my kids and my wife went to the ladies. She said the toilets were dirty and the floor had lits of water and toilet paper. We then ordered sushi and requested that the crab be switched with another seafood. The waitress who was not welcoming at first said that it could not be done. We have however done this at other ocean basket restaurants. She called the manager who said he also cannot do the switch for us. He then said that he can remove the crab and replace with cucumber. We felt that was an unfair swap. He then sad he will change it to salmon. During our meal another waiter came to our table to ask for the tomato sauce. He was rude and could not speak to customers properly. I went to the gents toilet and found that even these toilets were the same as what mynwife described. I complained to the manager. When I got the bill I was charged for the swap of the crab to the salmon. Overall. The staff do not know how to communicate. The place was filthy. I have and will continue to tell people of the bad experience I had when I went to OB gateway. Rather try another he of their franchises. Fordsburg JHB provides good service and their sushi is awesome.</p> <p>OB gateway gets zero stars even negative. Their staff needs to go for training on how to speak and behave with customers.</p>
