Our family went out for supper on Saturday night (to the Liberty Mall branch in Pietermaritzburg). The waiter, who took us to our table offered to take the drinks order. We usually get the carafe of lemonade so this time we asked about the apple and mint and also asked about the price as it was not written on the menu even though it had a picture of the apple and mint. The waiter told us it's R 39.99 and we then proceeded to order two of these. We were astounded to get the bill a while later, and were charged R 99 per carafe much to our shock and dismay. We explained this to the waiter and got no sympathy. We didn't make an issue of it as we had a guest joining us. When we got home we called the branch and informed the manager and again got no sympathy or apology in return. We feel mislead, in fact ****med. Shame on you Ocean Basket, could you not print the price on the menu? It was not our first reaction to go to social media, but you leave us with no choice :(
