Rude management at Ocean Basket Emporers

Went and had a meal at Ocean Basket Emporers Palace on a Sunday evening. Everything went okay until our food arrived and the Lemon Butter which we asked for to be “on the side” was already all over the fish.

We then requested a new meal with the sauce on the side. The waiter completed this action quickly. The manager on duty (Justin) which was at a counter 3 meters away did not even approach our table to check if everything was okay.

As we were eating the manager kept on whistling in a high pitch tone and instructed his waiters to “hurry up” and the usual “check on this table” by almost shouting at them on the other side of the room in a very demeaning manor.

My Fiancée then asked one of the waiters what the manager’s name was to which the waiter rep**** “Justin”. At that moment the manager from behind the counter was demanding to know what our problem was, keep in mind this was from behind a counter, 3 meters away.

He then only approached our table and asked us what our problem was. He then said “what did I ever do to you? I wasn’t even at your table this whole night.”. He then challenged my Fiancée to tell him what the issue was to which my Fiancée said she would like to speak to head office directly. Straight after that, he carried on for her to tell him what’s wrong. He was very demanding and on the offensive right off the bat. Was a very unpleasant experience.
