****** Experienced At Ocean Basket Randfontein Branch

<p>Just like a million South African I decided to take advantage of the Ocean Basket 21st Birthday deal. So I took myself out to Randfontein Ocean Basket.<br /> When I got by the door there was a lady wtih two kids, who requested a table for three, <br /> she was subsequently seated. As I waited, two white women came after me and stood beside <br /> me.<br /> A white man came, who I was later told is the area manager went directly to the two white <br /> woman. Spoke to them and as he was about to leave to check for a table for them I called <br /> him, told him I was there before the two ladies.<br /> He told me he didn't know and he left.<br /> He came back after a few minutes, calls the two white ladies in and left me alone at the <br /> door. Tells one of the black waiters to get a table for me.<br /> When the waiter came, I asked to speak to this area manager, to ask him why the two white <br /> woman were given a table before me.<br /> When I asked him why were those ladies seated before me, when I did let him know that I <br /> was there before them. He still insisted that he didn't know. I'm like I told you I was <br /> there before them.<br /> He quickly went to call the manager, who seemed un-phased, couldn't careless about what I <br /> had to say.<br /> I told the story to the manager, who then said to me, this is not a racial issue.<br /> And he told me how busy the restaurant was and that he has no time to attend to me.<br /> I decided to leave, and as I was leaving he says bye, mocking and making fun of me. <br /> I felt so disrepected, as if I was going to beg for food.<br /> I've never experienced such ****** in my life, I'm still in shock.<br /> Is this the rainbow nation that we all rave about?<br /> I would like to know what is our mayor doing about such establishments, that display <br /> ****** like this?<br /> I'm so disgusted by these people.</p>
