poor sanitary standards

I was horrified last night, when visiting Ocean Basket in the PMB Midlands Mall with my husband, to see the grossly unhygienic and non-professional manner in which the ****tail rolls were being handled. Unpacked from a plastic hold-all with bare hands, placed onto a bare counter and then directly onto the microwave oven turn table shelf for heating. Warm rolls stacked again onto a bare counter, uncovered, with literally every waitron passing by, then touching the rolls (with bare hands) to see if they were warm enough for serving. This gross conduct made me feel quite ill and extremely concerned as to the sanitary standards practiced within the Ocean Basket franchise outlets. I immediately reported such to the manager of the outlet but felt that her cursory attempts at rectifying the matter were wanting and inadequate. Your attention to improving personnel awareness of the need to maintain hygiene standards is clearly urgently required. I have advised my colleagues and friends of the poor standards I encountered and now await your official feedback as to what actions you will be taking in this regard
