Ocean basket-Vangate mall

Vangate mall - ocean basket was my first experience whereby reviews are requested at the end of service. The waitress we had was friendly. However upon asking to speak to the manager on duty to explain why this is an ask, Maria was extremely rude, spoke over me and stated that head office requests that they ask for reviews. I've been to many halaal OBs and this was never an ask. I asked her why and she immediately asked what did the waitress say despite me mentioning the service was good, until speaking to her. I can't imagine how people working under her should feel the way she speaks to customers. I would never return to vangate for aslong as she is there. Thereafter she checked the waiter infront of staff which is extremely unprofessional. I seriously hope that this company puts policies in place to protect its workers and trains their management to deal with customers in a polite manner. I would like a follow-up and how a franchise this big cares for paying customers having to deal with that level of disrespect and having to witness her go off at staff. It is downright ugly
