Ocean Basket Trade Route Mall - Your All Around Below Average Restaurant

Visited Trade Route Mall Ocean Basket for my daughter's 8th year birthday on 16 October 2022 at approximately 16:10pm. At the entrance we were approached by a Male waiter who then passed us on to another male waiter who then took us to our seat and passed us onto to another lady who was our waitress. We felt like they were being discriminating by passing us over to the next person each time. The restaurant had no vibe or atmosphere...it felt dead and lifeless. The waitress serving us never bothered to introduce herself and did not give off a friendly vibe. We ordered Sushi which had withered chives and did not appear or taste freshly prepared. The platter for 2 we ordered was of a small portion and served with one and a quarter piece of fish as opposed to 2 pieces of fish which we are accustomed to, the rice was half cooked and also tasted stale, calamari and squid appeared to have been poorly fried with crumbs which just fell apart as we were plating up, mussels from the top up we ordered and from the platter for 2 tasted chewy and raw, garlic sauce was overly sour and salty. I did not feel like my daughter was made to feel special as only the waitress and another staff member sang happy birthday for my daughter whilst the other staff just sat outside at the entrance...the waitress served my daughter a complimentary ice cream for her birthday in a glass tumbler meant to drink water in which I found insulting. Our bill was also brought to us in a glass tumbler and the waitress did not bother to give us our copy of the bill. Manager never bothered to "grace" us with his presence whilst dining. Overall it is a below average restaurant which I would not like to visit again or recommend for that matter. I have been to many other Ocean Basket outlets but this has to be the worst of them all in comparison. I completed an online review form for this restaurant but got no response either.
