ocean basket st lucia
on the 18 dec 2019 we went to ocean basket in st lucia. I received a horrible service.firstly we got there at 8h35 the doors were still opened.we got stopped at the counter they said they were closed and i asked what time they close as i was there previous week at 9h15 they said d same thing.
They sat us down.we there ordered a platter with saucers to dish on as i asked if they dont have plates anymore the lady said yes... No one came to check if everything was fine on our table afterwards....until i sent someone to go ask for the bill. I then sent the guy to go and pay using my card at the counter and he came back with the slip.as we were leaving the lady your didnt work.i then asked why??and she said i must read for myself on the slip and i said what if i cant read by that time most of the staff was at d counter looking at us.i was very dissappointed because when i looked at the slip it said limit exceeded which was not right as my point of sale limit is R50000 per day.she threatened to call a manager i said fine and then her colleague intervened asking if we paying or not.and then we pay using another card.nothing was wrong with the limit but the problem she chose budget instead of straight when swiping which had no limit.
I wish ocean basket can teach their staff an approach to customers and also never to look down or judge customers by colour as we were even told they doing us a favour for taking us in the kitchen was already closed they claimed.
I am not going there ever again.they staff made us feel like hobbos that are broke.
