Ocean Basket Sandton City Worst Ever!

On Thursday 27 December 2018 We mistakenly ordered a Pina Colada unaware that it contains alcohol The menu does not clearly state that it contains alcohol. When the waiter brought drink we double checked with him and he confirmed that it does contain alcohol, we explained that we don’t consume alcohol and requested a different drink. The waiter explained that it would pose a problem and called the manager. Priska, the manager explained that the drink had already been made and we have to pay for it (R138) I expressed my disappointment since we haven’t had the alcohol and shouldn’t be expected to pay for it despite it being our mistake for ordering it. Ocean Basket makes so much money, yet they couldn’t write off R138 that we didn’t even consume. Both manager and waiter couldn’t care less about requesting payment. They made us feel like ********* for an honest mistake. We paid for the drink and left. They treat their customers like transactions, no service, care or concern. I will never go back there and I will tell everyone about this experience. #OceanBasketSandtonCityWorstEver
