OCEAN BASKET RUDENESS

I want to express my disappointment with the manager at Ocean Basket. My friend, my son and I went to Ocean Basket to enjoy a peaceful lunch which turned out to be 'a spoilt basket'. We entered with our mask on and took our seats. We took off our mask and was going to place our order when the female waitron insisted we put on our mask. I explained to her that we are socially distant apart and we know each other around the table. She insisted and we requested to talk to the manager. He insisted on us wearing our mask and we tried to explain to him that we are going to place our order. His words "its people like you who will infect others." We were highly offended and decided to leave. His rudeness prevailed and he said "you can leave." I am sure this is not the image Ocean Basket portrays.

We walked out of the restaurant and went into the next one opposite Ocean Basket where we were able to sit, relax, and enjoy our meals. We were allowed to take off our mask. As we walked around, we saw people at other restaurants also had their mask off and were placing their orders.

I have decided to share our bad experience with family and friends and decided, never again will we frequent Ocean Basket at Galleria when we visit Durban.
