Ocean Basket N1 City Cape Town AWEFUL experience Ocean Basket N1 City Cape Town.... Steer clear people. Our experience since we step foot in the restaurant was aweful. The waiters weren't pleased to welcome one into the place because we waited a while before someone came to show us a table. Then we waited for our drinks for so long that we had to call the waitress to fetch it for us. I ordered my food calamari and fish and my husband Sole. When food arrived (didn't take to long) hubbies Sole was raw and chips was oily as if it was baked twice. My food was okay. I asked what the fish of the day was and the waitress told me it was Hake, price for fish of the day is R160 - Hake is on the menu for R180, I told my husband watch this, they are going to charge me the hake price... Not the fish of the day's price.... Would have been okay not going on about it but principle is, then do not put Fish of the day on the menu for R160 and charge people otherwise. We'll hubby told them he lost his appetite he doesn't want anything else, they didn't charge him for his food, but to my amu*****t the charged me not R160, nor R180 but R185 for my food.... Worst experience ever in a restaurant. We are usually very kind to waiters, personel and any staff serving us in the best way. I just need to warn you to be careful of this place, you WILL be dissapointed.
