Ocean Basket - Cape Town V&A Branch

Good day, We were there around 9h00 in the evening of 2nd Jan 2023 for the second time during our trip to Cape Town. After we joined the line by the entrance, the manager asked the people behind us that he could not accommodate them and they must not stay there, also asked us to wait for a table to become available but not in polite way. He came back a few minute later stating that we should not stand where we and all others have been waiting from the beginning by the entrance with even more offensive language. We (including my 5 year-old son) therefore decided to leave due to the manager’s (Pieter) shocking behavior which we have never experienced in any of other branches across South Africa. Thereafter when I tried explain to him the reason we were leaving, there was no sign of regret or an offer of apology to us as a sign of respect towards the customers.
