Not so fresh fish and chips

<p>We thought Ocean Basket at Brooklyn was one of the better outlets in this franchise but not after our last meal there on Satueday 4th Jan. My wife ordered her usual plain fish and chips and myself fish with calamarai. I thought something was suspicious when the food arrived just two minutes later, we had not told them we were in a hurry. We were both hungry and started eating straight away. After a few mouth fulls my wife said her fish was very dry also the portion seemed very small. Mine was also dry and both the fish and calamari portions very small. I think they had taken fish that had already been cooked from a warming oven hence the dryness. Normally the fish would be white in colour but this fish was more grey. We called the manager over and told him we were very disappointed with the meal. He appologized and told the waiter to give us complimentry coffee which when arrived was not very hot anyway. The cost of the meal was R226.00 including a 10% tip resonable if the meal was enjoyable but in this case money down the drain. Don't think i will go to this venue again.</p>
