Not so fresh

<p>Tuesday 15 March 2017</p> <p> </p> <p>Ordered the crumbed prawn starter. Herb mayonaise was like water? Crumbed Prawns completely overcooked, batter hard. I assume these are not made on the premises as they did not seem fresh but frozen produce that was deep fried.</p> <p> </p> <p>Ordered the sushi for one. Sent most of it back. The crabstick maki was weirdly overcooked and floury/dry. The tuna did not taste right and I was worried it would make me ill. The prawn ngiri overworked by hand and prawns overcooked. </p> <p> </p> <p>Then decided to go with the fish and calamari combo (yes, I only get to town twice a month at best and this was supposed to be a treat) Fish piece of fish nice and tended, second piece was like trying to cut through a piece of wood. I am not even sure what type of fish the second one was .. the first was clearly hake. Left the chips and only ate the calamari which was great but again a waste of money as I had a third of the meal.</p> <p> </p> <p>Waitress was lovely and the non alcoholic ****tail was delicious and beautifully garnished.</p> <p><br />No manager on the floor in the entire 2 hours that I was there. I was told that he was in the office the entire time.</p> <p> </p>
