Mediocre Service
I visited Ocean Basket in Potchefstroom earlier today and received poor service. I am a student who gets the opportunity to eat out once in a blue moon which I feel justifies my report. It reached a maximum of 29 degrees Celsius this afternoon which was the time my girlfriend and I visited the seafood franchise restaurant, typically i asked whether the air cons could be switched on and my request was declined because it would cause them to have to close the 4 sliding windows which was open. Our basic need for sharp utensils was declined because they only have butter knives in their kitchen. To make things worse I was served tough prawns almost as if it was defrosted in the microwave, and when I asked for the \Ocean Basket Peri-Peri"sauce advertised in the menu they also did not have that. To summarise I ate mediocre prawns and my girlfriend had to eat her calamari with a butter knife in the heat of the day at a cost of R200. I am a marketing student and this is the opposite of how a leading South African seafood restaurant should treat their customers. It is the small things which make clients become loyal and spread positive WOM. This is bad management."""
