Kids be quiet!!!!

We went out as a fam yesterday eve for my wife's 53rd Birthday supper. My 2 daughters and their kids were with.1 boy aged 5 and 2 boys aged 3.We actually left Spur on my eldest daughteers request,as she said Ocean Basket has a Kiddies area for the boys. It's winter....and the play area is situated on the top floor patio/stoep area.Well...for the sake of the boys we sat there. We had only 1 couple there as well with sitting at another table with their 2 kids as well.Take into concideration the patio/stoep is cordoned off by glass as this used to be top floor shops before, but amidst this we get a visit from the manager whilst enjoying our meal, whereby he asks us to please not let the boys make so much noise as the patrons on the lower floor were complaining.I dont see how this could be possible as just on the other side of the glass windows where we were sitting there were also customers, and they never had a problem with the "noise"We tried telling the boys to be more quiet, but i mean really now..........its boys.....in a play area....secluded from everyone..........on the top floor.........secluded by a glass partition........and one level.Clearly something is wrong with this picture.Well we hurriedly finished our meal as our appetites were now completely spoilt and left.We went down the stairs and there was actually music playing there, something i mentioned and noticed on exit, and mentioned to my fam that wow!i was quite oblivious to the music as we never even heard anything. To crown it all the top floor is still also under renovation.................So we actually sat on /in a building site.Pathetic.I guess the manager of Ocean Basket doesnt have kids.ps the owner of the restaurant were actually also sitting on the partitioned side across from us,and he clearly didnt have a prob with the boys in the play area.#justsaying
