Great seafood at Ocean Basket Killarney

We visited Ocean Basket Killarney recently. It was really busy when we got there, evidence of its popularity, and there were several new items on the menu. We started with a sushi platter, followed by mains of Mediterranean prawns and a kingklip and calamari combo. The sushi was fresh and delicious, with a good variety of options. The saucy Mediterranean prawns were succulent, with a rich and flavourful sauce that complemented them perfectly. The kingklip was cooked just right and was accompanied by tender calamari and stir-fried veggies. The desserts were the perfect end to our delicious meal at Ocean Basket. The baked yogurt cheesecake was light and creamy, while my old favourite, the chocolate lava cake was rich and decadent – the way I like it. The service was great, and the indoor lighting was great for a romantic ambience. Suffice to say, our expectations were exceeded.
