Girly with a bad attitude

<p>On Tuesday, 31 January at 11:00 am, our office order a platter for one and a village salad from Ocean Basket, in Sunnypark Mall, Sunnyside. 1 hour later the food was still not ready, another hour passed and a waitress named Girly was asked to bring the food to our building, just accross the street. My colleague, in such a hurry, ran to get to the food as it was for our boss who was about to dash into another meeting, she feel down the stairs injuring her knee and cracking the screen on her phone. After a while, she called me to go and collect the food from our reception instead. The first thing I did, was greet and apologise to Girly for making her wait about 10 minutes (although we had waited for 2 hours and no apology was offered by her). She did not respond to my greeting and simply walked away, when I called after her asking her to give me my change, she threw is back in my hand and said "don't ever make me wait that long again" before walking off.</p> <p>I did not appreciate how rude she was and the attitude that came with her so I went across the street and spoke with her manager, Moses. After I relayed what had happened, in the presence of Girly, he apologised for the 2 hour wait and the mishap and indicated that Girly naturally had an attitude problem, which is not a perfect response to an agry customer. Girly said nothing and smacked her tongue at me before walking away. I told Moses I wanted an apology from her and after he instructed her to give me one, she said "I'm sorry if you think I was rude". This is not an apology. Moses said he would deal with it, but he didn't seem to handle it then so not sure how else it will be dealt with after I'd left, this response was solely meant to appease me. If this is the attitude Girly has, she is in the wrong industry. She is rude, direspectful and unpleasant all around and makes one not want to go back to OB, which is unfortunate because it is conveniently located.</p>
