Food was baddd!!!!!

Deeply Disappointed and Concerned About Food Quality at Ocean Basket Potchefstroom.

I am writing this review out of genuine disappointment and concern regarding the meal I received at Ocean Basket. What was meant to be an enjoyable dining experience turned out to be one of the worst I’ve ever had.

To begin with, the rice had an unusual and unpleasant taste—almost sour, as if it had been sitting out for too long or improperly stored. However, the real issue was the hake. It was rubbery and tough, with an odd, almost chemical taste that resembled old oil. The texture was far from fresh—it was so unpleasant that it felt as though I was eating something spoiled or even rotten.

The entire meal left me feeling nauseous and genuinely unwell. I’m shocked that food in this condition would be served to customers. This experience has shaken my trust in the brand’s quality and food safety standards.

I sincerely hope management investigates this matter and takes immediate steps to ensure that no other customer has to go through something similar.
