Dropped the ball cradle stone

On May 9th my daughter decided to take her mom out for mother's day lunch. Ocean basket is one her favorite ones.

We loved going to the cradle stone franchise as we always received great service and the food was good. We had not been there for over a year because of covid.

When we arrived we where told to sit at any table we preferred. We then had to ask for a waiter to serve our table. When she finally came to the table she did not greet us and hastily took our drinks order. What must have been 15 minutes she returned to to take our order. My daughter had wanted to leave after we had to beg for a waiter to attend to us but I told her to be patient. The sad thing is they were not even that busy. The waiters where all hanging around the entrance.

After what must have been 20 minutes one of the managers brought our meal which was terrible. It had no taste and was ice cold. We took the food home as we did not want to wait another 20minutes while the food was warmed. Have you ever tasted cold calamari it's horrible. The waiter or managers never came to our table once to enquire if everything was to our satisfaction.

I don't know what happened to this place as it used to be excellent and would drive past a few other ocean baskets in the area just to eat there.
