Dishonesty & Possible *******

I went to the Ocean Basket, Atterbury Valuemart yesterday around 3pm for a take-away. My order was taken by a white man, possible the manager/owner of the branch. I placed my order and handed him an x amount of cash, he gave me my change, in my hand. When I walked away from the till awaiting my order, I counted my changed and became aware that I was given an x amount short than what I was supposed to be given. I immediately went back to the till, to which the white man was no longer at, so I signalled a black man, I think he was a waiter. I told him I was given short change, to which he rep****, the amount I was given short and said the balance of the change I left on the counter. This was untrue, as the white man gave me all the change in my hand. The black guy said he noticed that I forgot the money on the counter and waited to see whether I came back to collect.<br> <br> His statement confirmed day light *******. My question, if I did forget the balance of the change on the counter, why did he not bring it to my attention? I honestly feel the shortage of my change was definitely not a mistake, it was planned. I also feel that I was a target, been a female. <br>
