Disappointment at Ocean Basket Montecasino

Went out to Tuesday night dinner at Montecasino Ocean Basket. Service was friendly and efficient but the food most disappointing. The presentation and taste of the meals was shocking. Overcooked tasteless spinach and butternut which was probably old and left till the end in hopes of selling it. The platter for one was tasteless and the food in general felt energetically dead and unappetizing. No garnish....just a oily platter plate. Small mussels that had seen better days . Too much salt on the battered deep fried calamari tentacles. Felt I was eating week old left overs rather then fresh healthy food. Bad food didn't save good service. Manager didn't show up although I told the waitress that the food was dissapointing. Where's quick staff communication gone to? Promised that next time it will all be better. No next time for me thank you. I'll rather spend my hard earned money elsewhere.
