Disappointing Service and Food

I never thought that going to my favorite spot after a beautiful day would turn out so terrible. Wow where do I even begin. I have never been so disappointed with the service I received Ocean Basket Stonerigde like I did on 30th Oct 2021. First, it was a bit chaotic as we were welcomed by a lady (didn't get her name but she had blond hair) who took some of our orders then vanished. Then a waiter came to take our orders. Did it not take long for our drinks to come😱, I'm talking a simple cyder that can be taken from the fridge and brought to the table with a glass. When the drinks finally came, the glasses we were given were so dirty we had to ask for cleaner ones, but we just got the same dirty glasses again together with the water jug. Then our food arrived. What was supposed to be half rice & half chips turned out to be full rice and quarter chips. Our prawns were literally laying on a bed of rice. The mussels tasted terrible🤢I don't know whether they were not properly washed but they tasted like "the sea", which hardly ever happens at Ocean Basket. Presentation is key with all food but, which is why the food turned me off the moment I laid eyes on it. We regretted ordering the Full Deck Platter as we assumed that it would have the same amount of fish as that of the family platter ****tle did we know) 🤦♀️The "tray" we were served on, didn't look too great either😧 Shuuu hai nor, I was sorely disappointed to the core. What a devastating end to a wonderful day.
