Chased away like we are nothing

It was my birthday and my husband decided to take me to ocean basket and little did i know that it would leave a taste in my mouth. When we get there we were seated and and was provided with menus. Our order was taken and our food didn't take long we were happy and enjoying ourselves then we ordered desert while enjoying it we were provided with a bill and we were surprised coz we were still planning to order more drinks and it was not busy to the point where I could say they needed the tables it was actually almost empty. After eating the desert the waitress was already there with a swiping machine and I said can she give us a few minutes my husband and I felt like we were being chased out of the restaurant and we didn't even feel like paying a tip but we gave her something as we dint have any lose money. Am so disappointed, if there is a rule that clients should not stay more the 30 minutes they should have let us know when we walked in then to treat us like **** and rush us to leave. I will never set foot again in that restaurant
