Butter people it that to much to ask!

<p>Wow I must say I am not shocked to see a rating of 1.4 for Ocean basket. So sad because it used to be a really nice place to eat. I have just come back from trying to treat my mother for a nice meal out. I knew that she always enjoyed Ocean Basket so I thought why not, I also have some good memories there.</p> <p>When we arrived at Ocean Basket in Tygervalley we had to wait about 15 mins before someone even acknowledge that we were there. The menu's that we got were all falling apart to start with. When my g****tizer arrived the glass smelt like it had been cleaned by a dirty rag. One that is used to clean all tables and has not been rinsed in a while.</p> <p>Then when our started arrived I realised that the garlic butter is actually Garlic Margerine. I Don't eat Margerine and who in their right mind in a restaurant would serve their customers that ****.</p> <p>Having just spoke to the manager that this was not acceptable, he said it is a Franchise choice to feed their valued customers margarine to save costs. Then after have spoken about it the main course was again smeared in the yellow muck. I asked that it be taken back and that they fry the fish with butter. The exact same piece of fish came back with the Margerine wiped off. I know this because traces of it was still visible and my mother had pulled a piece out of hers and it was the same piece back on our plates.</p> <p>This in my mind was an insult to my intelligence. Shame on you!</p> <p>This is the last time I will ever go back to Ocean Basket. Such a disappointment. You should be ashamed, no chef worth his salt and in his right mind will cook with Margerine.</p>
