Bad food causes food poisoning

Hi

On Tuesday at around 19:30pm we ate at ocean basket in Lenasia trade route mall. We had to leave after some time and requested all our food be packed for takeaway. We ordered a number of dishes, but my wife and i ordered the soulmate platter which comes with salad which was not touched/eaten from. The next day we ate the salad with breakfast only to come and find that it was no longer edible and i am currently sitting with a food poisoning situation. Please bare in mind that the food was kept in the refrigerator which should've kept the food still fresh and edible the next day. To me it seems like we were given old products which caused me to fall ill.

I have a 5 month old son which now sits with the same problem. My wife too has stomach problems now. I am highly disappointed that such a well known company can serve there customers with inedible food. The food is not cheap as it is R365 for that platter and for that amount, you'd expect quality food

Kindly assist on the matter as this is unacceptable
