Theft by

I put a deposit down on a matric dance dress in January and made a subsequent substantial payment only to discover by accident that the owner , Bernadette Lif****z had closed the business without warning at the end of February . She did this without informing her loyal staff - telling them instead that they were relocating to premises in the Waterfront . Only on the day of the move did staff discover what was happening. Up to this point she allowed her staff to take deposits for dresses that she knew would never be made. Her staff have not been paid and customers have had money taken and no goods delivered . This is blatant theft.

After tracking the owner down on Face book in an effort to recoup my money, I have been blocked , as have her staff. She refuses to answer messages . I have laid a charge of theft, reported her to FNB ***** and encourage all customers in the same position to do this too. This woman must not be allowed to open a business in SA again. She has exploited people for her own gain. I would welcome any contact with others who wish to lay a collective case against her .
