Complaint: OBSID Continuous Harassments

To Whom It May Concern

On numerous occasions members of your organization has followed me, photographed my person and vehicle, and displayed ************ tactics to run me out of the area. They have collected intel on me, and continue to do so without my knowledge, and to what end, God only knows. This is now a sick and obsessive case of unmotivated, baseless harassments!!!

For the past three months OBSID and associated neighborhood watch patrolling officers has harassed me relentlessly, also employing bullying ************ tactics, whilst I was out, going about my business in the Observatory area.

The first notable incident occurred when I was sitting in a park, where an OBSID foot patrol officer advised me that the park was reserved for dog walkers (we're now reserving public spaces for certain people and uses), only and that I should go to a park somewhere else, and that I should vacate the premises immediately. He then proceeded to threaten me, saying that someone "like me", "of my kind" who had resisted, had a dog put on him, and brutally attacked, by a resident, and that I should be careful. He then proceeded to take photographs of my vehicle and person without my knowledge and consent, photographs that would start a period of being falsely ********ly profiled, spied on, intimidated, and harassed for months!!!

As a resident, I've been to this park numerous times without any bother. After this inficent, driving or on foot movement in Observatory has been made extremely uncomfortable for me by your officers, which now has transformed into explicit harassments and false ******** profiling.

I ask that you inform your officers to immediately stop their harassments, following me, photographing me and my vehicle, and infringing on my constitutional right of free movement. The way they are operating is highly *******, and since they have been at it for so long without any consequence, makes me question their leadership.

This is the abuse of power that is being manifested through these bodies, and in my opinion is the real face of the ***ardly leadership who are promoting their sick agenda to enforce social, racial, and economic barriers in this country. Mind you, Obsid and similar bodies are established as a reporting function and should not employ violent and aggressive acts against any peoples, so why do I see them policing the already destitute members of the community. I have witnessed armed officials, with batons and electro shock devices being sounded to insight fear, and being used on the defenseless and homeless who they abuse without any fear of consequence. I am truly and utterly disgusted with the leadership behind such bodies, pushing their discriminatory agenda to keep out and rid "their" public spaces of "other" peoples, under the guise of ******** profiling, ************, ******* acts, and the premise of "residents not feeling safe", but those same residents may employ actions that makes others not safe, and that totally justified and Okay! So it is easier to minimize and push out others to make those who feel unsafe, safe. If this has happened to me, how many countless human beings have had their constitutional rights compromised by racially discriminatory campaigns like this??? I will call it as I see it and how I have experienced it, this rot in society is rooted deep in a past of Apartheid, and the impact of that thriving legacy today. You cannot begin to comprehend the incomprehensible from the perspective of your privilege until you can put yourself in my shoes to experience what I have experienced, only then we can have a conversation.
