Observatory Backpackers Ticks and Bed Bugs

My Family came to visit on the weekend of Valentines day (14 Feb 2019- 17 Feb 2019) . On the first night they were bitten by Ticks and/or Bed Bugs. After telling the owner, she promised to Fumigate the place and gave a discount to the rooms for the inconvenience. However, on the Friday evening, the bed was still infested with bugs and my brother was further bitten by these bugs. After sleepless nights and alerting the management and reception in the early hours of the morning, they did nothing about it and my family had to sleep in fear on the third night. My sister was badly affected as the bites became inflamed and we were forced to buy antibiotics as she was also feeling sick. The owner could only apologize which to some extent is unacceptable as the risk of pesticide illness is very serious. I feel like the matter was take lightly and brushed off by management of Backpackers.
