Obs Court Security

Today I visited my boyfriend, who's been staying at Obs Court for about 5/6 months. I've been visiting regularly since helping him move in.

Usually all the staff are friendly and polite but this afternoon a Security guard was offensive and disrespectful regarding signing in when I arrived. There's a process for visitors when they come in and sign in as one does when entering large buildings. I joked and asked why sometimes we're to sign in and other times they can open and we can walk through. The security spoke over me and couldn't even give me a hearing once I tried to calmly speak to him. He felt I was disrespectful for questioning how they did things. Explained that we aren't kids who need to be told what to do and that we should just come straight in and sign. Then I questioned him and asked them why they weren't consistent as it is their job. He further continued to speak over me and explained that people come in and disrespect Security and treat them badly - I should stop thinking he's just security. I then tried to speak and compromise but he walked to the back room and as I said was that they should then ask everyone to sign in all the time and I didn't mean any disrespect.

I was so disappointed and offended to hear what he had to say all because I asked that they stick to one thing.

Other than the one security guard Obs Court is a great place to stay.
