Pathetic Service from Obey your Body Gateway

I purchased a hair Iron (Jean Pierre) from Obey your body in Gateway in July 2019. The consultant guaranteed me that the Iron has a lifetime guarantee. In November I experienced issues with the iron and when i took the iron back to the store the consultant then advised me that there will be stock in January. When i took the iron in January another consultant advised me that they are no longer selling the Jean Pierre iron as the manufacturer is now in China and there has been many issues with the iron. He then asked me to pay an additional R600 to purchase the Cest La Via iron. I wasnt happy with the iron and i did inform him that i am not prepared to pay R600 more as i intially paid R1800 for the Jean Pierre Iron. In addition the Cest La Via didnt even work on my hair properly. The consultant then advised me to call the customer care number. I then tried to call the number atleast 15 times in 3 days with no answer. I then emailed the customer care department who then advised me on email that the Jean Pierre has been upgraded and i have no choice but to pay R600 for the other iron. He then advised that it was the festive season.

I am actually extremely disappointed with the service from Obey and i feel very misled about this product. I don't advise anyone to do business with this company as they are a bunch of *****.
