Deliberate destruction of engine and possible lies.

I purchased a vehicle from this company and I was told that the engine had been "done".

A few months later the engine broke and the mechanic who fixed it for me told me that it had previously been deliberately destroyed by whoever worked on it.

The bolts had been stripped and the gaskets that were put on were not meant for this type of vehicle. The one gasket was for a different car and had been cut to size and the other gasket was home made. The worst thing that had been done to this motor is that all the holes where the water is supposed to flow through to cool the engine had been sealed up with silicone. Can you believe it?! Someone had actually opened this motor up and deliberately ensured that it would overheat and become destroyed.

The owner admitted to me that he was the one who put this motor back together so therefore he must have been the one who destroyed the motor, but why is what I would like to know?

Also, when I purchased this car I told the seller that I could hear a noise starting in the gearbox so he said I could have a free gearbox included in the sale but before I drove the car away he told me that there is no problem with my gearbox and he was mistaken because another one of his cars had a gearbox issue and he thought it was mine but he remembers now that it is not. Anyway, I was correct because the car now needs a gearbox which I cannot afford.

I would like this company to buy me a new engine and a new gearbox and pay a qualified mechanic to fit it because I don't want them working on my car.

They had also put a gearbox in for my boyfriend and the car was returned very badly damaged so I know that they do not know how to put gearboxes in.
