Not even a "D" for effort..!

Oh my Goodness! I completely empathize with Belinda, because of the way the Obama Language Centre (OLC) has treated me since entering into an agreement to teach Conversational English for them.

I am an African-American woman sheltered in Ghana, West Africa in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. My agreement was to teach on-line for the month of September, before relocating to Kigali at the beginning of October if the working relationship was a good fit. Well, it did not work out, because like Belinda, OLC did not meet the commitments of the either of the on-site or on-line contracts.

So I was forced to resign due to their lack of commitment; worse was their lack of response to the repeated attempts to address my concerns. I can only thank God again & again that their failure to live up to the American standard in the name of the beloved 44th President of the United States was made clear before moving there!!!

However, the absolute WORST is that three weeks later I have not been paid the 190,000 rwf (approx. $190 USD) for the 19 hours I earned for September 2020; the only hours I earned in THREE & A HALF WEEKS, for an amount less than my pay for ONE (6-hour) DAY in Los Angeles, CA (USA)! Utterly ridiculous!
