RIP-OFF BY INSURANCE
On the 8th of April I called in to Oaksure to advise that my business vehicle had been involved in an accident and the guy agreed to pay for the damages through his insurance. All I wanted to know is how the "loss on income" policy I took up with them works. I spoke to an agent who then put me on hold to go find out what will be required from me and what I will need to submit in order to claim from this value added product. After a while she came back to the line and advised me that all I needed to submit was the invoices of the jobs done. The agent then advised me that they will be sending me the no claims forms for me to complete.
A week an a half later I did as I was told and sent all the invoices in. A few days after that I was told that my insurance had rejected my claim as I had a 3rd party claim. I advised them of the call I had with the agent a few weeks before and I was never advised that I should not do a 3rd party claim in order to benefit from my loss of income policy I had with them.
They then asked me to give them time to look for the call with QA which took more that 2 weeks to revert back to me, after two weeks I was advised that the call cannot be found and there is nothing they can do.
I feel I was unfairly treated that I have to go thru all that trouble to then be told that they cannot find the proof. I have to just suffered because of their negligence.
I pay monthly for that loss of income and for me to be told I cannot get money from that because the brokers cannot find the call recording that they feel will serve as proof that their agent advised me correctly after I personally called in to find out what I need to do in order to benefit correctly and fully from my insurance.
y\Insurance are just out there to rip customers off and only benefit from our premiums, I want to receive my benefits and don't want to hear stories abut you guys not finding the phone call. all calls are recorded for a reason and the reason is definitely not for customers to be told to go home and forget about their claims because calls are lost.
