OAKSURE TAKING FOREVER TO RESPOND

I lodged a complaint below with OAKSURE in February but up to now I am just told that 'we are investigating'. Surely how does an investigation take more than a month without getting any form of feedback. I am seriously disappointed.

I have an insurance with RTU/RENASA which I got via Oaksure (policy number RTUE 00 11 50). On Sunday, the 24th of Feb one of drivers was involved in an accident. As per procedure, we called the RTU/RENASA call centre since the Oaksure offices were closed for the weekend. The call centre agent indicated that he would send a tow truck to tow the car and then we would contact the Oaksure brokers when they open on Monday the 25th. I had no problems with that. a tow truck from First Help was sent and towed the car. On Monday, I called Oaksure and they were of assistance and emailed the procedure and forms to be completed. After internal discussions in the company we concluded that the damage to the car was not extensive, in fact it was not something major, considering the amount of excess involved, it was not cost effective to proceed with the claim. This was communicated to Oaksure. It was also indicated that we would go ahead and settle the bill with First Help the towing company. One of our fleet managers went to First Help Branch in Watloo Pretoria. When he got there, he was presented with a bill of R8510 (eight thousand five hundred and ten rand). This was for towing the car from Christofell Street in Pretoria West to Battery Crescent in Watloo, Pretoria. Not only did the Administrator talk down on our Fleet Manager, she literary intimated him and threatened that if the amount is not paid the car will be auctioned-out of fear that the car was going to be sold, he paid the said amount. The administrator was very rude and put the fear of God into the fleet manager. I am shocked to say the least by this kind of pricing. This is day light ******* to say the least. How does First Help charge in excess of R8000 to tow a car for 20KM and keeping it overnight? This is not only ********* but also unacceptable. Is this how RTU/RENASA operates that they make arrangements with service providers who literally fleece their clients. The reason why we called and agreed that the car be towed was because was insured but at no point did we agree to such kind pricing because this is just an unfair pricing system. RENASA please help me with this since you are the ones who has an agreement with First Help!! I cant even deal with FIRST HELP TOW COMPANY BECAUSE I DID NOT CONTRACT THEM TO TOW THE CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
