OAKSURE CAR INSURANCE...December to April, and still waiting

It was Back in 2016 , when I joined the insurance with my previous car, and came 2020 with a new car, I continued with my " trusted" insurer. Little did I know that when I had an accident on the 24th December 2020, I would still be waiting for my car to be fixed in April 2021. 1.The insurance's choice of repairers, was based 300ks+ away from me , and I could not get access to my car even when sending people to check the progress as I am far away, they were denied access. 2. I kept getting false promises on my car readiness since February to date (7th april) 3. It turned from the car being fixed and ready by February to the next month ( March), then the other month, till today its April. 4. The insurance people " Bafana" to be precise, started helping on the 4th month with trying to push for the car to be fixed and delivered, yet still nothing, it came to a point where my calls were never returned by him even with tons of messages left for him. I keep getting the " covid hinderances and vw polo parts not being available even on the 5th month of my car being there. 5.I was promised a courtesy car for the duration, and still do not have any, still struggle with public transport, when I have a car that i have been paying for, for the past 5+ months and couldn't use.

I would not recommend the insurance to anyone at this point and time. The best courtesy you get from then is when you take the insurance, come a time you need them, you will be stranded all by yourself for the longest of time. ( my experience).

Good day, Ntsadi R

We understand your frustration. As your brokers, we are doing our best to push the panel beater to complete the repairs. However, there is a part they have ordered and has not been delivered. The vehicle manufacturer is struggling to get vehicle parts because of the lockdown. We are in constant communication with the panel beater. We are also requesting that a courtesy car is provided to you as soon as there is 1 available. Our sincere apologies for the delays.
