Insurance not taking my calls

My car was ****** and recover, on recovery of my vehicle, there was a shootout between the police and the perpetrators. My vehicle was damaged between crossfire(bullet-holes), the matter was reported to my insurance and i completed then faxed back the claim form to my insurance on the 9th of Feb 2015. The insurance assessed my car and no feedback was given to me. I then called the insurance a week later to ask for feed back, and the reply i got was \but your car was written-off". Fair enough"
