Waste of time!!!!

<p>I drove through a huge puddle in November 2016 while during in a hectic storm but only picked up the cam shaft damage in Jan 2017, I registered a claim on 10th of Jan. On the 21st Jan Oakhurst had all the relevant documentation and sent it off for final approval. The RMI mechanic called me around the 23rd of Jan to tell me Oakhurst wanted to take the car away because they want to write the car off I told the storage guys not to take the car away because for 1) Oakhurst hadn't informed me of a write off and 2) the quote was under the 65% valuation of the car 3) The mechanic only charges if it's a write off.....after a week of arguing and getting the same responses from oakhurst I was told the assessing manager would call me on Friday 27th he called Monday 30th to tell me why the car was a write off, I then went along with it (invisible damage) as I just wanted the claim to be resolved as quickly as possible. So I spoke to the storage guys and oakhurst to write the car off on Monday, Tuesday they call me and ask can they take the car!!!!! And said I owe them 8500 which they will take off the settlement when majority if not all these costs were caused by wasting time and not getting on with the claim!!! Since then I've had a verification interview which was last week and the car has had a 2nd assessment BUT still nothing regarding the outcome of the claim!!!! </p> <p> </p> <p>I'm shocked at how slow everything takes I have to chase it up everyday to get any form of movement regarding my claim and the fact I get charged for that while I'm still paying my premiums is revolting AND now it's effecting my work and family. I've literally written this just so I can just get an outcome!!!</p>
