Terrible Service

Registered a windscreen replacement claim with Oakhurst on Monday - informing them that the windscreen is in a state which I can not drive with it any more and I commute to work 120km a day - so this is an urgent claim as it is my only means of transportation.

After numerous calls and emails eventually the claim was registered with PG Glass late afternoon - confirmed from Oakhurst via sms stating that Sandon will replace my windscreen at my work today.

Didn't hear anything from PG Glass and phoned in to make arrangements - the claim had not even been registered with them. It's not even their claim number.

I am unfortunately bound to Oakhurst because of the Matrix unit that was fitted, but will defenately swich insurance as soon as this expired.

If I can advise other people I will advise them to not even take a glance at Oakhurst.

Competetive rates - terrible service.

Imagine this service when you really are in a big accident.

Dear charlene-bence

Kindly accept our sicerest apology for any inconvinience caused by the delay with replacing your vehicle's windscreen.

We confirm that after the claim was reported to us we processed and sent and authorisation letter to PG Glass in order for the windscreen to be replaced. Unfortunately, the fitment centre that was assigned to replace your windscreen did not action the authorisation timeously. We then proceeded to authorise a different fitment centre and we have confirmed with them that the windscreen has been replaced.

Kind regards

Oakhurst Resolutions Team

Reviewer Update

I did phone PG Glass who was not aware of the claim at all.

I phoned the branch that I got the number from you as well as another branch - they had no idea that there was a claim logged.

I then phoned National Auto Glass to get the number where the claims should be registered.

Upon another email I've sent complaining, one of the telesales girls phoned me and I had to give her the number to log the claim.

Only after that I've received a response from National Auto Glass to fit the windscreen the next day.
