Terms and Conditions Violating Consumers

After 2 years with service provider, for the 1st time they debit my account 2 days before my paydate that has cost me penalty fees with the Bank and a bad record. The irritating part is that is that as per their clause which they claim it was read telephonically says if the debit date falls within the weekend or public holiday they will debit earlier. I find it unfair because when a person signs a debit order you align it with your pay day and since they are claiming that they have mentioned the clause, the consultant did n't advise accordingly since they knew this kind of weekends are expected during the course of the year. The telephone marketers treat us like recording machines especially when they read the terms and conditions. I still find their clause out of line and to their best interest. For people that are using real time payrol system that does not release salaries before the weekend or public holiday it is wrong. Most of the service providers will use the naedo tracking system that only releases the debit order once the money hits the account or waiting 1 day after your pay day cannot kill anybody since we are paying for a service here not that we borrowed money.
