Quick to sell insurance but not quick to communicate with clients when they mess up debit orders!!!! Terrible service.

I have been with Oakhurst Insurance in their Pet Insurance division for 6 months now and their service is terrible....Tried contacting them for 2 months regarding change of banking details and no one ever answers the phones, they dont respond to emails and dont even stick to debit order dates...where the hell does a company debit you on the 25th of December 20:34pm???? Bank charges are over R300 so far and they just keep debiting and sending retarded smses claiming that they will call to assist for unpaid debit orders, well i have been waiting 2 months for that phone call and they dont even have the decency to do their job...I do exactly the same Job and know how collection works but apparently they dont!!! a waste of money,I will never advise anybody to make use of their insurance. Unprofessional and ***********. And I will be making sure that they will be paying my bank charges!!!

Dear chante-w-pieterse

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience that you experienced as a result of not being able to get hold of your consultant.

One of our consultants tried to contact you earlier in order to rectify the issues on your policy but did not get hold of you. She will try again during the cause of today to reach you.

According to our records your chosen debit date is the 8th of every month, after the initial debit for your December premium returned unpaid we tracked your account for the applicable grace period of 15 days in order to re debit your and make sure that your cover remains intact. Therefore, the debit that went off on the 25th was a result of the re debit that was done to ensure that you are sufficiently covered.

We hope that the above was of assistance.

Kind regards
