Poor Customer Service

30 Min on hold receptionist has a don't care attitude...................Several calls were made to Oakhurst with promises by Oakhurst for calls to be returned.........this never happens.

When your call is answered that person cannot assist you because they are not your claims administrator. Been involved in an accident is traumatic, huge inconvenience, financial burden having to pay excess and to top it of you spend hours of your day trying to get information from Oakhurst and its as if you are just left in the dark...........Guys forget about the getting Cheaper Insurance it just has a whole lot of problems attached to it......

Plus as per the consultant they don't have car hire on any of their options???????

Dear Samuel

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We were unable to trace the audio recording referred to in your complaint. We do however confirm that our normal procedure is that the receptionist will first attempt to connect you to the relevant department to assist. In an unfortunate event where all our lines are busy, you are then asked to leave a message so that an available agent can call you back.

You logged a claim on 28 November 2017 which was authorised and settled, however, you advised that you were not happy with the repairs. The insured vehicle was returned to the repairer for corrective repairs and collected by you on 16 January 2018. You again advised that you were not entirely satisfied with the corrective repairs. You were contacted by an assessor on 19 January 2018 and arrangements were made with the repairer to assist.

Furthermore, we confirm that when your policy incepted, the consultant offered a product which amongst other things, includes a car hire benefit. You declined this.

Please do not hesitate to contact our Resolutions department should you have any further queries regarding the matter.
