Please recover my excess

I am not sure where to turn to at this point, everything about Oakhurst/Dotsure is just disappointing. First it was the issue with fixing my car which took almost 2 weeks just to get my car to their designated Auto body, Now I am being told to wait for 6 months to get my excess money back. I am so exhausted I cant even follow this up anymore. To say the list, their consultants are very rude and so unhelpful. Everyone you speak to at Oakhurst never seem to have the answers to anything, all they do is shift the blame. What makes me even angrier is that they are acting as if the third party does not want to cooperate when that is not exactly the truth. On the day of the accident I was in contact with the third party and they were more than willing to assist, all they do is fold their arms and wait for your next call just to tell you "we have sent a letter of demand to the third party", really!. I must say thou more than anything I have picked up an issue of lack of competence, no one ever wants to take responsibility its very annoying. All I am asking is for Oakhurst to reimburse me my excess money so I can move on with my life. Thank you!

Dear Thembela

We apologise for the inconvenience that our processes caused.

We confirm that your claim has been allocated to the Recovery Department who are actively attempting to recover your excess from the third party. Unfortunately, we can’t advise you how long it will take to finalise the matter.

Should the recovery be successful, a pro-rata portion of your excess will be refunded to you. Unfortunately, Oakhurst will not refund your excess unless they successfully recovered your excess from the third party.

Kindly allow the process to follow through and should you have any questions you are welcome to contact the Recovery negotiator Prodance Arries on *** / ***.

Regards

Oakhurst Resolutions Team
