Oakhurst insurance is ******* in suit's
Good day all
I am very very disappointed in the way I was treated by this insurance company. I feel ****** and cheated to my core.
In early September last year I was involved in a accident and my vehicle was written off. The cause of the accident was due to a burst tire in which I lost control and the vehicle overturned and rolled. Luckily me and my fiance was not hurt. I then called all the authorities and the vehicle was towed to Alpha Auto in Kuruman. The insurer then sent someone to come and inspect the vehicle after a few days. He than didn't find any fault from my side. And they were supposed to payout. They then took the vehicle to their warehouse in PTA I think. Not long after that they decided to have some of their people conduct their own little investigation in which the outcome was not to payout because they said my tires wasn't roadworthy. So they than called in a specialist or specialist's from trendtyre. In their investigation they found that my tires was import tires and the quality of the tires is not the same as the tires you seem to find in SA. It was Powertrack city racing tires according to them this tires thread measures a 5 whereby the other tires in SA measures a 7. They also found that the tires was rethreaded tires which I had no idea it was, I bought the car with that tires and when the accident occurred the car was not even driven a year and I haven't even put 30000km on those tires they were brand new when I bought the vehicle. They insured the car with those tires...why didn't they say that I should replace the tires before they could insure me? They where just to greedy to take my money!
This insurance company named Oakhurst Insurance ****** me and ruined my life. I have a baby boy coming into this world in May this year and I am getting married in December this year. I have no transport to get my fiance to the doctor for her weekly check ups because I was ****** from people in suit's. I now have to pay of a R ********** car that is no use for me. I have to safe for my son and a wedding. I thought that Oakhurst was the way to go because they where so friendly and accommodating but I was wrong I was stabbed in the back.
Please can anyone help me I don't know where else to go or what else to do. I am a young man just starting with my life as a father and husband to be.
PS. PLEASE I AM DESPERATE FOR A SOLUTION FOR MY BABY BOY'S SAKE
