Dear Cyril

We refer to your HelloPeter complaint posted on 29 January 2019, contents of which have been noted.

Upon investigation of your complaint, it was established that you had a Netstar contract that is independent of your Oakhurst Comprehensive Policy contract.

The terms and conditions were advised and agreed to telephonically which copy of the contract was sent to you.  It was stated on the contract that the duration of the contract will be for the initial period, commencing on the effective date unless terminated earlier by either of the parties (Insurer and Insured) as permitted in terms of the contract. On expiry of the initial period, and provided that the insured has not confirmed that the contract will terminate on the expiration of the initial period.  The contract will continue on an indefinite basis, and either party will have the right to terminate the contract in one calendar month written notice to the other.

We confirm that there was no written notice forwarded to Netstar for cancelation, and confirm that their contact details have been provided to you to assist you in constituting cancelation.

Trust the above is in order.

Regards,

Oakhurst Resolutions Team
