INSURE WITH THEM AT YOUR PERIL

Well, we had a burglary on the 18th July 2020, claim was registered on 20 July 2020. We were only paid for part of the claim as it was claimed that there were documents we never submitted to them. It was then later found that we infact did, but some of the items claimed for were not on the original A1 statement. We got an amended A1 statement from SAPS as the investigating officer was off, and their offices were closed due to COVID-19. This was between the 05th and 08th of August. I was then later advised i needed to provide them with proof in which i tried to obtain proof in the form of photographs, which they said were not acceptable. But they have paid out items which were given proof to them in the form of photographs. OAKHURST refuses to pay on the basis of that i cannot prove ownership.
