I wonder why what takes Budget Insurance and Dial direct 2 days take Oakhurst insurance months???

I am very disturbed by customer service from Oakhurst insurance. It's been almost a month since my wife had an accident on my car and the only action so far, is an email to acknowledge my claim (and this came after 2 weeks).

When I call the call centre it never seems like an actually call centre but an small office without a floor supervisor or manager, who can assist consultants on escalated inquiries, they cannot handle. I am asked to rather send her an email.

The accident occured on the 26th of February and up to this date, the 20th of March I have not spoken to anyone. Me and my wife have made endless calls without finding getting to anyone who can assist.

I have been with Dial diarect and Budget before and I am so shocked at how long Oakhurst takes to deal with an insurance claim.

I don't find this in order! ''The appointed will communicate directly with you using the contact details we have on our records or as provided by you.'' Your appointed sent me an email acknowledging my approach after 2 weeks of receiving my email and said he will advise me further, (and that was the 13th of March). And now another appointed has been allocated as per email I received yesterday, and she will be investigating the complaint as well, and will advise after 14 days! That is out of order. Insurance companies I mentioned above also did their investigations as well, but their turnaround times and communication was not this way, but Oakhurst seems to be on another level when it comes to inconveniencing an already inconvenienced claimant, with no efficient communication and intentional mis-communication. I'm thinking the problem with Oakhurst is capacity to deliver for their clients because I have never experienced this type of delay before? Then all your insured should know about that incapacity so that there's no altercations between your insurered and claimants or even crimes in the future. Don't say to your insured they have third party claim if I he has to make a collateral with his car, to a claimant, when you fail have to deliver peace of mind promised him.
