My mother had an accident on 31 August 2014 and unfortunately passed away. In September 2014 I lodged a claim with Oakhurst for the the vehicle she had the accident with. For more than a year, they claimed to be waiting for the postmortem. When they finally sent me a response, on 3 November 2015, they are declining to pay out due to misrepresentation of facts. To my surprise, they did not give me a single fact that was misreprented and proof thereof.

This is a clear indication of an insurance company that went into business to de***** people of their hard earned money. It makes up senseless stories to avoid meeting its obligations.

We pay insurance for incidents or for times like this. Oakhurst must do the honorable thing and pay up. They must earn their money honestly.
