DOUBLE EXCESS CHARGED WITHOUT

6 August 2015 I logged a claim for repairs to my rear left door because someone drove into my car whilst I was in Ruimsig Spar. When I came out the person had already driven away with no note and there was no car guard available to ask if he had seen what happened. I logged the claim with Tyrone Don who emailed me that my excess was 10% of the claim which is fine but an additional 10% will be due because there was NO THIRD PARTY INVOLVED. How is this possible after I explained another person (this is the 3rd party) drove into my car and fled without leaving any details? Why should I pay a double excess? I've emailed him several times but he's adamant that there was no 3rd party involved. Is he death or just *********** to understand what I've said to him? I'm not going to be penalized for someone driving into my car and leaving the scene before I returned to get any details.
