Double Deductions And Poor Client Service Regarding Refunds

I joint dotsure last week Tuesday night, and on Wednesday I questioned some items on my cover. On Friday I canceled the dotsure because the feedback was skeptical, and I received a canceled letter form dotsure. I contacted them to conform if there will be any deductions made from my account and they said no. Saturday morning the 1st deduction went through, when i contacted them to query, they ask me to send them proof and after I sent them the proof then it will take 2-3 working days for the money to be paid back to my account, after the call I sent them the proof. On Tuesday morning there was another deduction made by dotsure from my account, when I questioned it they asked for proof again, so I sent them the proof. I requested that the full amount should be paid back to me as the fault was on their side. Today I get a message from Oakhurst telling of the amount that they will pay in and it is less than what was deducted, and that the refund will only take place within 2-3 working days from today. It is almost a week since I canceled and queried regarding the refund and still nothing happened. My honest opinion Oakhurst (dotsure) is a bogus insurance company that is in it just for the people’s money.

Dear Gerda

When you cancelled the policy with Dotsure we had already actioned the pro-rata instruction from your account as agreed by yourself.

It is unfortunate that the instruction had already gone through to your bank when you requested that the policy be cancelled.

We confirm that the refund has been paid into your account and apologise for any inconvenience.

We trust the above is in order.

Regards
